Not a roadmap, a reflection.

Saw a kitchen timer in a video. I almost bought a physical one.

Then I wondered — why not build one for the Mac?

Started sketching the idea that night.

Built the first working prototype. Dial, ticking, a soft chime at the end. It’s simple, but it already feels right.

Added a small settings menu — quiet by default, but gives you choice.

Tick, click, beep — all sounds can now be toggled.

Also added a Quit option. AL‑60 learned how to listen better.

Dark mode was added — not just with color inversion, but with care.

Shadows were tuned to feel more grounded.

System notifications now accompany the final chime.

Also, number labels used to blur at the edges. Now they simply sit still.

Polished the settings menu: improved theme selector visuals, reorganized layout, and added dividers.

Enhanced the volume sliders for better looks and precise control.

Fixed the settings popover to close correctly on outside clicks.

Added a 'Launch at Login' option for convenience.

AL‑60 lives in my menu bar. Soon in yours.
